Welcome to the home page of the South Central Area of FMCA.  In case you did not know, the acronym “FMCA” stands for the Family Motor Coach Association, an organization that is dedicated to our members and the enjoyment of their Recreational Vehicles.  The South Central Area is a region which consists of Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. So if you have a RV and live or are interested in the South Central Area of the United States, then hang around and take a look at what we have going on.  Come back often, because things are always changing!

Position Vacancy

Area Treasurer


We are looking for an Area Treasurer.  The duties of the treasurer are:


Attending the board meeting in January, the planning meeting in April and the yearly Area Rally in September.


Ordering the badges as needed, tax forms for the area, paying travel expenses for the Vice Presidents and expenses of the board.  Provide petty cash for the staff at the area Rallies, pay contracts associated with Rally.   Receive all funds and pay all bills of the SRA under the direction of its officers and directors. The Treasurer shall make a financial report for each meeting. Within one month after the expiration of his/her term of office, he/she shall deliver to the incoming Treasurer all monies, vouchers, books, and papers of the association in his/her custody, with all posting made to date of delivery. The treasurer shall have charge and custody of, and be responsible for, all funds and securities of the association and deposit all such funds in the name of the association in such banks, trust companies, or other depositories as shall be selected by the Executive Board. The President and the Treasurer will have signature power on all such accounts. He/She shall render to the President and the Directors whenever they request it, an account of all his/her transactions as Treasurer and the financial conditions of the association.  In general, he/she shall perform all duties incident to the office of Treasurer and other such duties as may be required by law, by the Articles of Incorporation, or by the SRA Bylaws, which may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the Executive Board.   You must live in one of the six states in the South-Central Area (Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri)
